National Round Table Consultation on Maternal Mortality Reduction Strategies

Global India Foundation in collaboration with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London and Rotary International hosted a National Round Table Consultation on 'Maternal Mortality Reduction Strategies' on 8th September 2010, at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The initiative brought together medical practitioners, representatives of State Health and Family Welfare departments, policy makers and academics to articulate and address the means of effecting positive changes in India's endeavours against maternal mortality. The Foundation was represented by the Chairman Vice Admiral (Retd.) P.J.Jacob, Prof.Omprakash Mishra (Member Secretary), Ziba Mirza, Ninad Nag, Cauvery Ganapathy, Amrita Chowdhury ( Fellows).
